Health Projects
Project is implemented through ‘National Calamity Fund’ in Akkalgua (Nandurbar), Surgana (Nashik), Dharni (Amravati). The objective is to reduce the rate of malnourished children upto 20%. Today the objective is successfully archived.
Pawar Charitable Trust and Rashtrawadi Doctor Sael are working in coordination to eradicate anemia totally from Pune. This project was launched by Hon. Mr. Ajit Pawar, the Minister for Irrigation. The project aims at establishing 50 anemia eradication centers which will serve 100 women per coordinate center.
Mal-nourished children project:
Pune Anemia Abhiyan 2007:
This project was started by Rashtrawadi Doctor Sael and Pawar Charitable Trust in 2007 with objective total eradication of Anemia, a disease which is common among women. Hon. Mr. Chhagan Bhujabal inaugurated this Abhiyan on 10th December 2006 at from his residence ‘Ramtek’ in Mumbai. The objective of this Abhiyan is to educate the women in rural areas about various aspects of anemia and the control measures to be adopted. The target is to eradicate the disease among 1 lakh women.
Rashtrawadi Anemia Abhiyan:
The project was started on 12th December, 2005, on occasion of birthday of Hon. Sharad Pawar, the Union Minister for Agriculture. With the aid of Pawar Charitable Trust, 115 ambulances are provided to various districts of Maharashtra to deal with the cases such as cardiac arrest, accidents, etc. Every 4 months there is a review meeting for this project.

Women Health and Empowerment Project:
In order to provide medical assistance in the extreme parts of rural areas devoid of medical and hospital facilities, a mobile clinic was started in June 2008. Areas such as Undri, Wadachi Wadi, Wadki, Aaruse Devachi, Autade Wadi in Pune district are covered under this project.
Free mobile clinics were set up for the ‘Warkaris’ in Pandharpur by Rashtrawadi. Under this 100 centers for diabetes testing were established in June 2008.
A group discussion was organised by Chikungunya Awareness Abhiyan at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Mumbai. During the discussion, light was thrown on various topics such as after-effects of Chikungunya, control measures for the disease, general health checkup system, etc.
In September 2007 in Mumbai, a workshop was conducted on women health and empowerment. Women representatives from various parts of Maharashtra participated in this workshop.
